This prized blend, carefully aged in the cellars at Brolio Castle, warms hearts and souls and offers extraordinary taste, which elegance and freshness stands even the test of many years of ageing.

CASTELLO DI BROLIO Chianti Classico Gran Selezione

Distinctive traits: elegant, intense, of great personality

Castello di Brolio created from a meticulous selection of estate-grown grapes from the three most representative soils in Brolio: Macigno del Chianti (sandstone), Scaglia Toscana (Galestro), Monte Morello (Alberese).

Harvest: The best grapes were handpicked from September 10th to September 29th.
Ageing: aged in 500lt tonneaux - 30% new French oak and 70% used - for 22 months.
Bottling: December 16, 2024.
Alcohol: 14,50% vol.

Tasting notes

Ruby red color. Notes of cherry and strawberry on the nose, with a hint of vanilla. Elegant and juicy mouthfeel, with ripe tannins that confer a long persistence.
