Castello di Brolio created from a meticulous selection of estate-grown grapes from the three most representative soils in Brolio: Macigno del Chianti (sandstone), Scaglia Toscana (Galestro), Monte Morello (Alberese).
Harvest: The best grapes were handpicked from September 10th to September 29th.
Ageing: aged in 500lt tonneaux - 30% new French oak and 70% used - for 22 months.
Bottling: December 16, 2024.
Alcohol: 14,50% vol.
Tasting notes
Ruby red color. Notes of cherry and strawberry on the nose, with a hint of vanilla. Elegant and juicy mouthfeel, with ripe tannins that confer a long persistence.
