Distinctive traits: ripe red fruit and plum, complex and elegant structure
This Cru lies on a clayey-calcareous soil (alberese), on the geological formation of Monte Morello, one of the most representative types in the Chianti Classico appellation: very stony soil, rich in calcium carbonate and clay and poor in organic substance.
Harvest: The best Collledilà grapes were hand-harvested Ageing: 18 months in 500 liter-tonneaux (30% new) Bottling: Colledilà 2012 on September 30 2016. Colledilà 2013 at the end of July 2015. Colledilà 2015 on July 28 2017. Alcohol: Colledilà 2012: 13.5%; Colledilà 2013: 14.5%; Colledilà 2015: 14% Contains: 2 bottles of each vintage
