Distinctive traits: fresh, complex, with intense minerality

Bottled after nine months of ageing in wood barrels, the wine is complex, of character, of great minerality; and to be enjoyed even after many years in the bottle.

Harvest: grapes have been selected and hand-picked on September 12 and 13, 2018
Ageing: 9 months in tonneaux (20% new) on the lees with frequent batonnage
Botttling: September 24 and 25, 2019
Alcohol: 13%

Tasting notes

Nice straw yellow colour, fresh floral scents on the nose, elderflower and violet. Balanced acidity enhances the freshness of this wine and its mineral character. Serve not too cold. Excellent after many years in the bottle.

This is a bright and accessible white wine from a predominately red wine corner of Tuscany. However, the limestone-rich soils of the region create good conditions for this carefully fragrant white wine.
