Castello di Brolio is our flagship wine created from a meticulous selection of estate-grown grapes. Produced only in the best years, this is an iconic wine which will leave a lasting impression. Its most salient features are the concentration and tannic structure. This prized blend, carefully aged in the cellars at Brolio Castle, warms hearts and souls and offers extraordinary taste, which elegance and freshness stands even the test of many years of ageing.

Sangiovese 100%

A ruby red colour. The cherry aroma stays on the nose, with a berry-like taste and a spicy finish. On the palate, it has an elegant and fresh feel, with well-integrated tannins that give the wine persistence and a pleasant flavor.

Sangiovese 95%, Colorino 5%

An intense ruby red colour. The aroma reveals hints of red fruits, sweet and caramelized scents, and spicy notes. It is soft and elegant on the palate, with firm tannins in the aftertaste.

A contemporary interpretation of Bettino Ricasoli's great research work, this wine obtained from a significant use of Sangiovese without filtration, stands out for its elegance and great character.

The soil, very distinctive and complex, originates from an ancient river terrace.
