Casalferro Toscana Igt: Deep ruby red color. The nose is rich and complex, with aromas of red fruit and ripe plum. On the palate, it is smooth, round, and full-bodied, with velvety tannins. Long and persistent finish, with a subtle boisé aftertaste. Ageing: 21 months in French oak tonneaux and barriques, 30% new and the rest second and third passage.
